In re Sealed Air Securities Litigation, No. 03-CV-4372 (D.N.J.) In this securities class action, which settled for $20 million, Pomerantz served as co-lead counsel to lead plaintiff the Louisiana Municipal Police Employees’ Retirement System. We prevailed on virtually all motions presented to the court, including defendants’ motion to dismiss (2005 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 33814); defendants’ motion for reconsideration (2006 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 46332); plaintiffs’ class certification motion; and defendants’ Rule 23(f) petition to the Third Circuit Court of Appeals seeking to overturn class certification.
